It is difficult to believe how much change has taken place over the past 15 years…. And if you look at where a lot of changes in hotels stem from… it would be the changes in technology that had one of the biggest impacts. i.e Smartphones and iPads didn’t even exist 15 years ago and most people used Desktop computers!
And one of the specific areas in hotels that has experienced a significant change (and most hoteliers overlook it until they need a replacement) is the phone system/PBX! Upgrading the phone system to a newer technology, like the ‘SimplyVX’ phone system will not only allow hotels to adapt with the ongoing technological changes but will also cut down on phone system maintenance and usage costs while also being more energy efficient!
